ABOUT ME
I'm a published illustrator, graphic designer and visual storyteller with 20 of years of experience providing clients with beautiful creative solutions and dedicated professional service. My work reflects lifelong obsessions with natural science, travel, history and Queer culture.
I am the co-author and illustrator of Washington’s Gay General: The Legends of Loves of Baron von Steuben (Abrams 2023), a graphic novel biography of a forgotten queer icon of American History, written by Josh Trujillo. Our work with The Nib includes the Ignatz-award winning anthology, Be Gay, Do Comics. (IDW Publishing)
My recent children’s books include Big Wig, Galloping Gertie, The Spirit of Springer and Mayor Pete.
I proudly work with clients ranging in size from HBO, Absolut, Buzzfeed, and The Washington Post to small independent businesses and publishers like The Nib and The Stranger.
When possible, I exhibit at various comic conventions, art festivals and galleries around the country.
